Volunteer with Kitkat Playroom

How does spending a couple of hours caring for kittens sound to you?

Our volunteer snugglers help care for the kittens living in a private house in Woodbury, NJ. Each snuggler shift is approximately two hours and includes both hands-on kitten care and routine chores. Volunteers may feed kittens, scoop litter boxes, sweep and clean their rooms, give medications, and help keep their spaces clean and comfortable. Once the work is done, there is plenty of time for socializing, playing with, and snuggling the kittens.

Our kitten rooms are broadcast live on Kitkat Playroom’s YouTube livestreams, so volunteers must be comfortable appearing and being heard on camera while they are volunteering.

Snugglers must be 16 years of age or older and must be able to commit to volunteering for at least one 2-hour shift per month. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for additional shifts as often as they’d like.

Online and in-person training is provided before volunteers begin working independently.
